Due to the overwhelming response of HSE experts from academia and the industries to the previous "Safety Engineering and HSE Management" on March 2006, 2008, and 2010, the center for Process Design, Safety and Loss Prevention (CPSL) at the Sharif University of Technology felt obliged to hold a fourth Conference on 6-8 March 2012.
